Meet Gwen!  Gwen is 10 years old and has been dancing for 6 years.  Gwen dances at Dance Track Studio where she takes multiple styles of dance and is on a competition team!  In addition to dancing at Dance Track, Gwen is also on a rhythmic gymnastics team.  Gwen’s favorite style of dance is jazz.  When we asked Gwen what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves moving her body to the music.  Dance makes Gwen feel alive because she feels free when she can learn and perform different dances.  

 

Gwen’s favorite parts of the Alive event were learning new dances during The Convention and performing them in The Showcase.  She is looking forward to the next event so that she can learn new dances again and compete in The Showdown!

 

Fun fact - Gwen can’t wait for her first dance competition this spring!
