Meet Lyahnnette!  Lyahnnette is 15 years olf and has been dancing since she was 2 years old.  Lyahnnette trains at Steph Kamp's New England Dance Academy where she is a company member.  Her favorite style of dance is jazz!  When we asked Lyahnnette what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how dance allows her to show her love for performance and artistry while she connects and shares her passion with others.  

 

Lyahnnette’s favorite part of The Alive Experience was the positive and cheerful attitudes that she felt all around her.  She noticed that the teachers, ambassadors, and other dancers taking class were all so friendly and it made the convention such a wonderful experience.  Lyahnnette is looking forward to the next Alive event so that she can take classes with more teachers and so that she will have the opportunity to expand her friendships with the other ambassadors!

Fun fact - Lyahnnette had the honor to be featured as a dancer in the Whitney Houston biopic, “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” that aired in theaters around the world in late December of 2022. She also represented the United States at the World Tap Championships in Riesa, Germany 2019!
