NICOLE DOUCETTE
Nicole has been dancing since the age of 4. She began with a ballet class and quickly went on to train in tap, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, lyrical, pointe, and breakdancing. At 13, Nicole became an assistant dance teacher and instantly found her love for teaching. It was in this role that she first discovered how much she enjoyed sharing her passion for dance and passing on the artistry to the next generation of students.
After graduating from Melrose High School in 2013, she went on to the University of Hartford where she was a member of her university's hip hop dance team. With this team she had the opportunity to take classes from several choreographers, perform and compete at various events throughout the state of Connecticut, and choreograph diverse routines for her teammates. Nicole graduated in May of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Elementary and Special Education. She then went on to receive a Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching from Fitchburg State University in 2019, a degree that Nicole now uses to design her own dance curriculum.

Nicole has experience teaching students of all ages at local dance studios in multiple styles with specialities in contemporary, hip hop, and tap. As the owner of Alive Dance Tours, she is thrilled to share her love and passion for dance in the hopes of guiding students to discover the same sentiment in themselves.
