Olivia is 12 years old and has been dancing since she was 4.  She trains regularly at Encore Dance Academy where she is a Junior Elite Competitive Company dancer.  Dance is a significant part of Olivia’s life.  During the week, you can find Olivia taking many classes at the studio.  Throughout the year, Olivia also attends many dance conventions and competitions.  While Olivia loves all styles of dance, her favorites are jazz and lyrical.  When we asked Olivia what she loves most about dance, she told us that she loves how she can express herself in all styles.  She told us that she is most happy when she is dancing!  Dance makes Olivia feel alive because it allows her to forget about everything else and just feel alive!

 

Olivia’s favorite part of Alive Dance Tours was the classes.  She loved learning from the talented faculty members.  In addition, she also loved being able to improv in The Showdown!  She found it to be a challenge, but she had so much fun! Olivia is looking forward to future Alive events so that she can assist classes and participate in The Convention again.  She also can’t wait to see local dance friends from other studios!
